Stainless Steel Kitchen Cabinets with an Integrated Sink Island
These stainless steel kitchen cabinets combine a brushed metal island with dark wood-finish tall units. The island brings the sink, removable preparation accessories and drawer storage together, while the cabinetry behind it combines tall storage with a glazed display section. At the centre of the island is a 5mm solid SUS304 worktop with a factory laser-welded sink. A Continuous Worktop and Sink Area
The 5mm stainless steel worktop is made from solid SUS304 plate. The basin is laser-welded to the top, avoiding an adhesive joint at the sink-to-worktop connection. Rounded, polished internal corners make the basin easier to wipe down.
The brushed matte surface has an anti-fingerprint treatment to reduce visible handling marks. A pull-out chrome faucet is part of the standard island configuration. Together, these details give the kitchen island with integrated sink a clearly defined washing and preparation area.
Removable Accessories Beside the Basin
The SUS304 knife holder, draining grilles and small accessory container sit within the island's sink area. Each module can be removed for cleaning, keeping the individual parts accessible rather than fixing them permanently into the counter.
These accessories organise the space immediately beside the basin. The final module arrangement can be selected around the preparation tasks and countertop space required for the project.
Drawer Fronts and Dark Tall Cabinetry
The island drawer fronts use an aluminium honeycomb core faced on both sides with 0.8mm SUS304 stainless steel. Their brushed finish matches the worktop, and recessed pull details maintain the island's clean horizontal lines. A black PVC plinth finishes the base, with adjustable feet for levelling.
The tall cabinets use stainless steel carcasses with an aluminium honeycomb construction and dark wood-finish fronts. The glazed display section has 5mm tempered glass doors in slim aluminium frames, with low-voltage LED shelf lighting. Clear or grey glass can be selected to suit the finish scheme.
Soft-close hinges are available from Blum or Hettich, with the selected brand and model specified in the quotation. Drawer slide specifications are agreed separately. Appliance housings are planned around the selected equipment, including its installation clearances and ventilation requirements.
Choose the Worktop and Equipment Configuration
The featured specification uses a 5mm solid SUS304 worktop. Optional alternatives are 6mm or 10mm solid stainless steel worktops, or a composite worktop with a 1.2mm stainless steel face and an aluminium honeycomb core. These are separate construction choices, selected before the production drawings are approved.
Optional equipment includes a built-in steam oven, a wine cooler and a gas hob. A nominal 60cm oven housing can be planned, with the actual opening sized to the appliance installation sheet. Optional water filtration, a waste disposer or an instant hot water faucet can also be coordinated with the sink cabinet.
Other options include upgraded drawer slides, black metal handles, alternative brushed textures and surface coatings, and additional plinth or drawer lighting. Island length and width can be customised, and a breakfast bar extension can be developed when requested. The quotation sets out the selected cabinet, finish, lighting and equipment configuration.
