Custom kitchen cabinets shaped around dining
These custom kitchen cabinets bring a long preparation island and an integrated solid wood dining table into one composition. The dining surface extends perpendicular to the island, giving the layout a distinct change in direction. A pale, boldly veined sintered stone worktop contrasts with the warm wood grain across the cabinet fronts and end panels.
The island configuration includes the sintered stone worktop and solid wood dining table. Dimensions are made to your project requirements, while additional base, wall and tall cabinets are optional parts of the wider kitchen layout. Designers, project buyers and dealers can specify the island together with the cabinet runs they need.
A kitchen island with dining table
The adjoining table gives dining its own wood surface beside the stone preparation area. The table projects from the island near one end, leaving its outer edge open for seating.
Specify the island and table dimensions together with the room plan. The intended seating arrangement, surrounding walkways and any selected cabinet runs should be considered as one layout. Stools are optional and can be selected to suit the project.
Chamfered edges and a recessed frame
The sintered stone island has a chamfered worktop supported by a frame beneath it. In the pictured configuration, a dark recessed band separates the pale top from the wood cabinet body. The angled edge and the setback below it give the worktop a clearly defined outline.
Flat wood fronts, horizontal opening channels and coordinated end panels continue the island's linear design. These details carry the character of the piece without adding projecting handles to the pictured fronts.
Materials selected by component
The pictured configuration uses 26 mm solid wood doors, solid wood end panels and a solid wood dining table. The cabinet carcass is made from 18 mm V100 moisture-resistant particleboard.
The included sintered stone worktop forms the preparation surface. Alternative worktop materials can be selected for a project: marble, composite stone, Inalco MDi, Dekton or stainless steel. Worktop thickness is determined by the selected material and approved design.
Wood options include Canaletto walnut, thermo-treated Canaletto walnut and fossil oak. Alternative finishes include wood finishes, laminates, matt or gloss lacquer, metallic lacquer and metal finishes. Specify the finish for each component so the dining table, cabinet fronts and any additional cabinetry can be coordinated. Alternative finishes and substrates are selected together for the relevant component.
Configure the surrounding kitchen
Optional base, wall and tall cabinets can be planned around the island to suit the room. Choose the required cabinet runs and their finishes alongside the island and dining table dimensions.
The sink, tap, draining accessory, hob and stools are optional project selections. For a selected hob or sink, provide the model details and cutout requirements when planning the worktop. Appliance connections and installation requirements are confirmed for the selected equipment and project location.
